und. With her is Doug Bloomfield, who helps run the Santa Claus Workshop Charitable Trust.</p>
            <p>About 50 volunteer toymakers around the city work throughout the year crafting a range of wooden gifts for children from needy families. Each year they make about 1000 and these are wrapped by a group of Brighton women and sent out through a variety of city service organisation like the Mayor's Welfare Fund. The idea has been going since 1974 and over the years they've made a real difference to many families.</p>
