Report of the Canterbury Waste Subcommittee 
to the Council

A meeting of the Canterbury Waste Subcommittee 
was held on Tuesday 18 March 2003 at 10am

Present:

Councillor Denis O’Rourke (Christchurch City Council) (Chairman),
Councillor Bryon Porteous (Banks Peninsula District Council),
Councillor Lee Burdon (Timaru District Council),
Councillor Sally Buck (Christchurch City Council),
Councillor Len Shaw (Waimate District Council),
Mayor Tony Arps (Hurunui District Council),
Councillor Bronwen Murray (Mackenzie District Council),
Councillor Robbie Brine (Waimakariri District Council),
Councillor Bev Tasker (Ashburton District Council) and
Councillor Ron Wright (Christchurch City Council)
Apologies: Apologies for absence were received and accepted from Councillor Bryan Seddon (Kaikoura District Council) and Councillor Bill Woods (Selwyn District Council).
Apologies for early departure were received and accepted from Councillor Ron Wright who retired at 10.55am.
Councillors Lee Burdon, Bronwen Murray and Len Shaw retired at 11.05am at the conclusion of clause 7.
