Report of the Strategy & Finance Committee Special Meeting to the Council Meeting of 21 May 2002

Present:	Councillor Alister James (Chair), The Mayor, Councillors Carole Anderton, Erin Baker, Barry Corbett, Anna Crighton, Ishwar Ganda, Denis O’Rourke, Barbara Stewart and Ron Wright.
In Attendance:	Councillors Oscar Alpers, Lesley Keast, Ingrid Stonhill, Sue Wells, Chrissie Williams and Norm Withers, Mrs Yvonne Palmer and Messrs Mike Mora, Don Rowlands, Bob Todd and Mike Wall.
Apologies:	Apologies for absence were received and accepted from Councillors Paddy Austin, Graham Condon and Pat Harrow. Apologies for lateness were received from Councillors Ishwar Ganda and Barbara Stewart. Councillors O’Rourke and Stewart arrived at 9.30am and were present for clause 1. The Mayor retired at 9.30am and was present for clauses 2, 3 and 4. Councillor Baker retired at 10.50am and was present for part of clause 1 and clauses 2, 3 and 4.
