Report of the Fendalton/Waimairi Community Board
to the Council

A meeting of the Fendalton/Waimairi Community Board was held on 
Tuesday 3 April 2001 at 4pm

Present: Keith Nuttall (Chairman), Diana Bradley, Sally Buck, Val Carter, Pat Harrow, Yiyi Ku, Barbara Stewart, Mike Wall and Ron Wright.
Apologies: An apology for lateness was received and accepted from
Ron Wright, who arrived at 5.51pm and was not present for clauses 1, 2, 3, 18, and 19.

Prior to the formal commencement of the meeting, the Chairman called on those present to stand in remembrance of Trisha Geange, a valued member of the Fendalton Advocacy Team, who had passed away earlier in the day. 

Rod Whearty, the previous Parks and Waterways Area Advocate, advised that he was now fulfilling the same role at the Sockburn Service Centre and providing a local support service to the Riccarton/Wigram Community Board.  He extended his thanks and best wishes to Board members who, in turn, responded in kind.
