A meeting of the Joint Christchurch City Council/ Canterbury Regional Committee was held on Wednesday 19 May 1999 at 4.00 pm in the No. 2 Committee Room, Civic Offices
| PRESENT: | Christchurch City Council: Councillor Anna Crighton (Chairman), Councillors David Close, Pat Harrow, Charles Manning, Sue Wells and Ron Wright. Canterbury Regional Council: Councillor Valerie Campbell (Deputy Chairman), Councillors Sir Kerry Burke, Neil Cherry, Diana Shand, Judy Waters and Peter Yeoman. |

| APOLOGIES: | Apologies for absence were received from Mayor Garry Moore, Councillors
Carole Evans, Richard Johnson and Sir Hamish Hay. Councillor Ron Wright arrived at 4.20pm and was not present for part of clause 1. Councillor Charles Manning was present until 4.30pm. |
