| 1. | PUBLICITY SUB-COMMITTEE STRATEGY |
Attached to this report is a presentation made by Mr Wayne Ormandy to the Recovered Materials Foundation, reviewing the short and long term plans for the kerbside recycling publicity campaign and setting out the communication and advertising strategies proposed to achieve those objectives. The tender documents for the publicity contract have been issued to four selected companies. The publicity campaign is planned to commence in February 1998.

The Committee received an oral report from Mr Piet Beukman (Acting CEO of the Recovered Materials Foundation) covering:

| 3. | FUTURE MEETING DATES |
It was resolved that future meetings of the Special Committee would be held starting at 12 noon on the second Wednesday of each month, with the RMF meetings being held on the same dates, immediately following the conclusion of the Special Committee meeting.
