A meeting of the Projects and Property Committee
was held on Friday 14 March 1997 at 2.00 pm
PRESENT: Councillor Ron Wright (Chairman),

Alister James, Denis O'Rourke and Gail Sheriff.

The Committee received progress reports on the following projects:
1.1 Christchurch Convention Centre RR 4755
It was also resolved that the officers report back on the possible renaming of this facility as the Christchurch International Convention Centre.
1.2 WestpacTrust Centre RR 4736
It was also resolved that the officers report back on:
The possible selection of a more user-friendly name for the centre, which clearly identified the purposes for which it was to be used.
The possibility of making provision for enhanced scoreboard facilities.
1.3 Centennial Pool RR 4743
1.4 Pioneer Sports Stadium RR 4744
