NOTICE OF MOTION
1. COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS TO MAKE THE CHRISTCHURCH CITY TRAFFIC AND PARKING ALTERATION BYLAW 1997
In accordance with a recommendation contained in the Central City Committee's report to the present meeting, to consider and if thought fit to adopt the following resolution:
(a) That in pursuance of the powers vested in it by the Local Government Act 1974 and the Transport Act 1962, the Christchurch City Council makes the Christchurch City Traffic and Parking Alteration Bylaw 1997 (as per copy attached).
(b) That the Council Secretary be authorised to give public notice that the foregoing resolution will be submitted to an ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on Wednesday 23 July 1997, for confirmation by way of Special Order.
