REPORT OF THE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT HEARINGS PANEL 1. PLAN CHANGE NO. 37

(HALSWELL JUNCTION ROAD, AND DISCHARGE TO

WATER RESOURCE CONSENT APPLICATION)

Attached is a draft decision incorporating recommendations made by the Resource Management Hearings Panel (joint Christchurch City Council/Canterbury Regional Council hearing) in respect of Proposed Change No. 37 (Part A to rezone approximately 12.95 ha of land from Rural 2 to Residential 1, and Part B a resource consent for stormwater discharge). Submissions on the proposed change were heard on 4, 5 and 12 March 1996 by a Joint Hearings Panel comprising Councillors David Cox, Anna Crighton and Newton Dodge. David Collins, Commissioner, appeared for the Regional Council. Recommendation: That the report and recommendation of the Hearings Panel be adopted as the decision of the Council.
