Application forms will be available in December.
More information will be available from the service centre in December.
A list of the allocation of project funding for 2001/02 is set out below.
The Board also has $60,000 discretionary funding for allocation to smaller projects throughout the year, as well as $40,000 specifically for Strengthening Communities.
Full details
These discretionary funds can be applied for by writing to the Community Board, giving a full and detailed explanation of what the funds are needed for and the benefit that your group, organisation or the community will get from the funds.
Providing a current balance sheet and details of any monies raised would also be useful.
The Board has reasonably flexible guidelines as to how it allocates these funds, although priority will be given to areas or issues that are specified in its objectives for the year.
If you have any questions on the Community Board’s funding, please telephone Clare Sullivan, the Board Secretary, ph 941 6615.
