Multitude of activities

Participate in the multitude of activities run by the Council, sports and leisure clubs, youth organisations, churches, schools, welfare services, and other groups in the community.

These activities strengthen communities and provide support, recreation and entertainment to participants. Contributing to the running of these groups demonstrates your commitment to the activity and the community.

Burwood/Pegasus has many Council and community facilities and a vibrant and diverse range of community groups. Details are maintained on Council databases.

Call the Advocacy Team or Shirley Library for the location and contact details of groups that interest you.

The Community Board has allocated funding for the publication of community directories later this year, providing contact details for community groups.

The directory for your area will be delivered to your letterbox.

The Advocacy Team will be contacting existing groups to confirm information for the directory.
