Successful applicants

The following groups are among those that have received a computer through Computers in the Community project:

Kimihia Youth Skills Trust
Kimihia is a Community House. It provides essential survival and life skills classes. Kimihia aims to foster self belief and confidence in its students and provides firm boundaries and support for students, beyond its classes.

St Andrews House Community Trust - North New Brighton
Offers fellowship and mutual support via a 'drop-in' Community House. The Trust develops and supports local initiatives to empower the community and break down isolation and loneliness. It provides information to people about activities and services in the local area.

St. John of God Health & Disability Services
Provides a home that cares for 10 people with severe physical disabilities. It has a policy of fostering independence and life skills. Computers can offer people at the St John of God home, the opportunity to learn new skills, connect to the internet and increase their confidence and self-esteem.
