The success of the Computers in the Community project relies on the support of the business community. To sustain the project, businesses and individuals are asked to donate redundant computers along with other computer equipment and software.

Donations are also sought to help with the cost of repairs or upgrades to redundant computers. Discounts on products, grants and sponsorship are other ways for people to assist.
