Sport/recreation funding
The City Council, through its Fendaton/Waimairi, Riccarton/Wigram, Hagley/Ferrymead and Shirley/ Papanui community boards, is now offering small grant funding for not-for-profit recreation and sport groups. The aim is to support local recreation and sport groups, and to increase participation in recreation activities.
Application forms and information brochures are available from council service centres, the Civic Offices on Tuam Street or on the council’s website at www.ccc.govt.nz/Community/Funding
- For advice about applications, please call 941 8999 and ask to speak to the community recreation advisor at your nearest service centre. Applications must be received by Friday, 29 September.
