Milestones at Our City
A new photographic exhibition on show at Our City O-Tautahi — the former visitors' centre on the banks of the Avon and Worcester Bvd — aims to bring communities together by portraying moments in life that are shared by all cultures.
The Milestones Project is an international exhibition of photographs by Americans Richard and Michele Steckel. The pair are trying to build bridges between different peoples and cultures by capturing memorable childhood moments that are common to all cultures, such as losing your first tooth or taking your first steps. It will be on show until 25 March and admission is free.
