Booklets detail city walks
Just released to fill the space left by the council's best-seller Walk Christchurch book are seven new booklets about walks in and around the city.
The booklets contain 49 short, scenic walks that showcase Christchurch's best parks, reserves and some formed tracks. They include seven new specially-designed day walks of three-to-five hours which link most of the walks in each booklet — a great option for people who like a longer walk.
The information caters for most ages, dog owners, families and those who have an interest in history or in flora and fauna.
- These area-based, user-friendly booklets are being sold in sets, for $15. A limited number of booklets are available individually for $3 each. Copies can be purchased from your local City Council service centre, at the Civic Offices on Tuam Street or by phoning 941-8888.
