Old Maps Attractive

Folding maps which were used to encourage new settlers to emigrate to New Zealand are on show at Our City O-Tautahi. The display, Unfolding New Zealand, is part of the collection of Dr Peter Maling, a Christchurch map collector and author of Historic Maps and Charts of New Zealand, 1642-1875. The maps reflect the exploration and development of New Zealand during the 19th Century.
- The exhibition is presented by the Antique Print Gallery and runs until 15 July. Admission is free. Our City O-Tautahi is on the corner of Oxford Terrace and Worcester Boulevard.
