Monarchs Feature
The hundreds of monarch butterflies scattered throughout many of Christchurch’s parks make a welcome splash of colour in winter. In some places hundreds of them can be seen hanging from the leaves of trees and, at some of these sites, butterflies have been seen year after year. Keep an eye out for butterfly banners currently dotted around the city.
