Hornby's History: Tell Your Stories

Hornby residents have a chance to bring their history alive through a series of public programmes. Funded by the Riccarton/Wigram Community Board, these programmes will be designed to bring the community together and encourage people to realise the value of their own stories. They will also launch plans for a long-term research project bringing together aspects of this unique area and its residents, with a focus on making information available to the community in future. The Hornby History working group is in the process of securing funding for the larger research project which they anticipate will take place over a five-year period. Fill in and return the form below to help the community project get started. If it's easier you can use other paper. Drop it in the box at the Hornby Library issues desk or the Sockburn Service Centre (149 Main South Rd), or email ideas to the Community Engagement Advisor Clare.Quirke@ccc.govt.nz
