Have Your Say! Draft LTCCP

Jellie Park's great for fitness, health

The health and fitness centre at Jellie Park Aqualand is part of the City Council's family of fitness centres and it's a great place for anyone wanting to improve their health or build and maintain fitness.

Supervisor Grant Bradshaw (pictured) says the atmosphere's the number one thing at the facility, with equipment facing out onto the outdoor pool area and the staff happy to help with advice and motivation.

"We offer free programming and unlimited assessment," he says. "The staff are friendly and there's a lot of social interaction between members. People really like it here."

There is a wide variety of exercise options, including aerobic and aquafit classes, and people with multi-memberships can use other Council facilities.

The minimum age for the gym is 16 years.

  • If you have any questions, call Grant Bradshaw on 941 5530. The Jellie Park centre is open Mon-Thurs 6am-9pm, Fri 6am-7pm, Sat 8am- 3pm and Sun 9am-3pm.
