Five on T&G short list

Five developers have been short-listed by the Council to submit proposals for the development of the block of land known as the Turners and Growers site. They are: Brian Gillman Ltd, Chas S Luney Ltd, Govan Property Group Ltd, McLeod/Arrow Joint Venture and RFD Investments Ltd. The firms have until March to provide more detailed proposals.

It is expected that the Council’s evaluation will be completed by May.

The Council received a strong response to its call last year for registrations of interest, says Allan Johnson, project manager for the development. “A good range of submissions was received,” he says. “These were assessed for demonstrating an understanding of the aims and objectives of the project, and experience and ability.”
