Community works maps updated

Copies of updated ward-area maps showing where and when works are scheduled around the city over the next five years will be available from the City Council in September.

Similar information was included in the April edition of City Scene.

This was based on the Draft Community Plan when the Council sought public feedback. At right is a schedule of changes from the Draft Plan.

Interested members of the public can get an updated map in early September, as finalised by the City Council, by emailing Alan.Dunlop@ccc.govt.nz or phoning him on 941 6323 or by calling in at a Council Service Centre or at the main Civic Offices on Tuam Street.

They are also on the web at, www.ccc.govt.nz/ltccp The addresses of the six Service Centres – Beckenham, Fendalton, Linwood, Papanui, Riccarton and Shirley — can be found under Christchurch City Council listing in the telephone book. The number for Council Service Centres is 941 8999. Recorded information about their opening hours is available by calling 941 6874.
