Wigram recreation survey under way

Wigram people are being asked to take part in a community survey about the area's need for sport, recreation and arts services. From last week survey forms were being sent out and the Council hopes they will be filled in and returned in the pre-paid envelope by 12 September. They may also be dropped at the Council's Sockburn Service Centre at 149 Main South Road.

The survey will help build a community profile and assess residents' current and future recreation needs. This will help the Council in its planning as well as provide information to groups which could provide recreation services. Follow-up public meetings will be held in late October at the Harvard Lounge in Corsair Drive.

  • For more information or extra copies of the survey, ph Jacqui Leask, Community Recreation Adviser 941 6537 or call into the Sockburn Service Centre
