Showtime Canterbury events on the net

Injecting over $23 million dollars into the local economy is not enough for Showtime Canterbury, the region's premier racing, rural and fashion event. This year the festival, which runs from 31 October to 16 November, enhances its brand to include website "bookends", becoming www.showtimecanterbury.co.nz.

The website becomes the main source for all festival information and recently went live. The feature Addington and Riccarton racing events are joined by the A&P Show and, for the first time, The Canterbury Fashion Collections and Awards on 6 November - a night of glamour and cutting-edge fashion in the atrium of the Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetu.

  • A Showtime Canterbury brochure will be distributed citywide early next month, and more information can be found on the website or by calling 941 6840.
