Target Zero winners
Five companies have been given the Council’s Target Zero
Special Award for Business Resource Efficiency at the recent
2002 Canterbury Resource Management Awards. They are
General Cable NZ, Edward Gibbon Plumbing Plus, Glass
Tech, Hot Pyjama Productions and Ravensdown Fertiliser
Cooperative. Each of the entrants has been assisted by Target Zero in
improving their businesses through sustainable resource
efficiency. One company, General Cable, was chosen for
special mention and presented with a pukeko sculpture
created from recycled steel by Jim Instone. |
