Views sought on the future of McDougall building
People who want to have their say on the future
use of the Robert McDougall Art Gallery building
have until 12 April to make their submission. The McDougall closes its doors as the City's
public art gallery on 16 June this year, with the
new Christchurch Art Gallery due to formally
open in April next year. The Council has resolved to seek the views of
the public on possible future uses of the heritage
building, compatible with its special character. Public submissions close at 4pm on Friday, 12
April and should be addressed to Peter Mitchell,
Legal Services Manager, Christchurch City

required. Submitters are asked to indicate on
their submissions if they wish to speak before the
