Walks leader wired for sound

Graeme Stanley (pictured), one of the leaders employed as part of the council’s Active Christchurch walk programme, can now spread the word with a new portable microphone system.

The equipment will be used on walks with larger groups.

Graeme Stanley will outline interesting features along the routes.

To date more than 15,000 people have taken part in the Wednesday,Thursday and Sunday groups that walk for 30 minutes or one hour.
