Residents say 'thanks' Mt Pleasant Community Centre and Ratepayers' Association has written to the Council commending the Council's handling of the problems during and after the storm. "We were impressed by the way in which telephone calls were handled, by the prioritising of the work and by the dedication of employees at the coal face at a time when they too must have been under stress," Bruce McKessar wrote on behalf of the committee. |
