In a nutshell . . .

Shuttle Survey: Most people who use the shuttle service are shoppers and about a third are visitors from overseas, according to a survey of passengers. The survey shows shoppers use the shuttle to move from one end of the City Centre to the other while visitors tend to travel the entire circuit and familiarise themselves with the City. Respondents praised the drivers and the convenience of the service.

Aqua jogging: Aqua jogging provides low impact exercise and is a fun way to keep fit. New classes are now available on Monday evenings and Sunday afternoons at QEII.

Council no longer licensing drivers
Due to recent changes made by the Government and the Land Transport Safety Authority, the Council is no longer involved in driver licensing.
The main new provider of this service in Christchurch is the Automobile Association.
Special thanks to all who have used the suburban service centres over many years to obtain or renew a licence.
