Speed Limits­What Do You Think?

Christchurch City Council and Transit New Zealand are proposing to change some speed limits in Christchurch and want your views.

Roads affected include:

Other roads where it is proposed to lower the existing open road speed limits (100km/h) include: Shands Road, Main North Road (between Dickeys Road and Chaneys Corner), Awatea Road, Wilmers Road, Carrs Road, McTeague Road and Haytons Road.
