Plan Outlines Services for Growing City
Each year Christchurch City Council ranks the priorities for the City and sets budgets for the coming year developing measures to ensure Christchurch remains an excellent place to live.
While the City is expanding quickly, Council must ensure that the services it provides are capable of coping with a growing population without dramaticaly increasing rates.
Christchurch City Council's Draft Plan: 1997 Edition has been prepared to provide for this growth without penalising Christchurch ratepayers.

Christchurch City Council's Draft Plan: 1997 Edition is published on 13 May. Christchurch residents are invited to make submissions on the projections and assumptions in the Plan.
