Here we are in June - and lots of
things have been happening in the City. The design for
the new Centennial Pool and its surrounding park is
looking really great. Over the next few months you'll see
the site change pretty dramatically and we look forward
to its reopening in September 1998. The Pioneer Pool complex is getting a wave pool - which will literally bowl you over - and is also getting a new creche, and both will also open at the end of 1998. |
The new Farmers City Centre development, which includes 500 car parks, is starting very soon, and this will certainly complement the Cathedral Square redevelopment which has been a long time on the drawing board, but is finally coming together!
In this issue of City Scene there are heaps of other items on what's happening in our city, so enjoy reading it, and if you do have any comments please give us a call - we like to get your feedback.
