Fancy being the Mayor for a week? Perhaps you'd rather be the Wizard, the Town Crier or a tram driver?
If you're between 10 and 12 years old, have an outgoing personality and like to dress up and show off, then the organisers of TV2 KidsFest want to hear from you. Four "confident and bubbly" children are needed to accept these roles and become the TV2 KidsFest Kid Celebrities later in the year.
Issued with authentic costumes, the children will meet and spend time with their adult counterparts, attend various festival events, appear on TV and be interviewed on Kids FM. It is a challenging and rewarding experience and it looks great on a CV!
Children interested in becoming a 'celeb' should phone the Communications and Promotions Unit on 371-1761 for an application form.
The ever popular, council-organised festival for kids will take place in the first week of the new mid-term break this year, 29 June - 7 July.
