City Scene - Christchurch City Council Newsletter - March 1996
Christchurch City Council publishes City Scene as a newsletter for our residents to tell you about things the Council is doing that could affect your lives.
We cover topics such as possibly selling shares in companies owned by the Council, the new City Plan, what rates we plan to collect and how we plan to spend them.
We use City Scene to tell you how you can have your say in forthcoming Council decisions. You have a legal right to be heard on many such issues and we think it is important we tell you about these rights.
The newsletter only comes out three times a year and it is printed on 100 per cent recycled paper. Occasionally we have had objections about City Scene from people who do not wish to receive advertising circulars. However, we think the newsletter is an important publication and, after careful consideration, we have decided to continue to deliver to all residents.
