The submissions received on the
proposed Christchurch City Plan ask for a large number of changes to be made to the Plan.
These changes may affect you, your property, neighbouring properties, or the city as a
whole. You may agree or disagree with those changes. If you wish to support or oppose any
of the submissions received, you can make a submission expressing your view. By the time this `City Scene' is delivered, a summary of all the submissions received should be printed and available for public inspection. Copies of the summary can be inspected during normal opening hours at all Council offices and libraries. Copies of the full submissions are also available for inspection during normal opening hours at:
Further submissions in support or opposition to the original submissions must be lodged at the Council offices by Friday, 28 June 1996, by closing time (4.30pm at the Civic Offices and 5pm at Service Centres). Further submissions must be on Form 3A, or to like effect, addressed to The Environmental Services Manager, PO Box 237, Christchurch. A copy must also be sent to the person whose submission is supported or opposed. At a later date hearings will be held for all submissions and any further submissions in support or opposition to the original submissions. If you have any questions please phone the City Plan Section of the Council on 941 8631. |
