- Location uncertain
- There seems to be lots of groups of teenage boys who can
be very threatening
- 43d next door is Housing NZ. Respondent has complained to
them, nothing was done. Leaves - sweeper needs to come
more often and warning given so leaves could be piled
ready for it. Respondent has already taken two loads to
dump. Other option - free disposal at council dump
- Regarding the above problem, who could one complain too
- The car wash machine is not that far away from them and
apparently this thing goes at all times of the day and
night. It's the night noise that causes the problem
- The drunk youths throw bottles onto the roof and at the
window
- Too many cats not under control
- I put a padlock on my letter box and no more problems
- Cars often want to use Harris Crescent as a thoroughfare
from Condell Avenue - Harewood road and they don't know
the road's here. You can see there's going to be an
accident
- Pylons and substation overhead wires etc. Can possibly be
endangering our health
- Hoons doing doughnuts in street
- Need a cul-de-sac sign or bumps on Dulles Place
- Complained to the police
- Annoyed that no response from police was apparent
- They could fix it with good street lighting
- Some young child could be killed because of the speed of
the vehicles
- Behind the Shell Burnside petrol station on Wairakei Road
there's a chap who is lighting fires, burning tyres and
things. It gets pretty bad sometimes. There's a lot of
noise from him digging but the main problem is the fires
when the wind is blowing. No one can hang any washing out
and I think that was what was making the dogs upset - the
smoke
- A property on Wairakei Road next to Shell Burnside is
particularly annoying as far as noise and smoke goes. The
noise he makes during the week we don't mind but in the
weekend it gets intolerable and the smoke he generates is
intolerable - just revolting
- The street's a bit narrow out there. When there's a car
parked on both sides there's not much room for cars to
get through. We think someone put the dent in my mates
car (the second time) on purpose - repaying him a favour.
(Whitby Street)
- I think they should put special humps on the road. There
are lots of young children about and it could be
dangerous for them
- Noises from passing trucks going to building sites
- I complain to the hotline about the pollution from
wood-burners. I have emphysema and as soon as it happens
I cannot go out the door!
- He doesn't live there and we have the smells and the
flies. Other neighbours find this a terrible trouble. He
also burns quite a bit too. The neighbours from hell -
I've seen it
- It is a major problem as my kids are asthmatics.
Neighbour burns coal
- I think the council is doing very little about the smog.
It's been a problem for decades and still there is no
change in the smog
- They stuck more shingle on it and made it messier. I
complained to the council
- Log burners and open fires polluting the atmosphere
- I want one of those humps put down this end of Jennifer
Street - where the street narrows. They come speeding
down here off Wairakei Road and they're doing about 80 by
the time they get to this end of the street
